It turns out the most promising research is coming from <a href=\"http:\/\/story.news.yahoo.com\/news?tmpl=story&amp;u=\/nm\/20030902\/hl_nm\/stemcells_transplant_dc_1\">adult stem cells<\/a>. Brazilian researchers have taken stem cells from patients&#8217; bone marrow and injected into their hearts to repair damage patients on heart transplant lists.
