Happy Thanksgiving. Here is a day in the life of Jason

\n8:15 am<\/strong>
\nHeard Bailey waking up. It’s about 23 degrees and cloudy, but the sunshine is bright in my house.
\n\"sunshine\"<\/a><\/p>\n

9:30 <\/strong>
\nPut our Sunshine down for her nap. Honeybun is preparing the bird. Breakfast is in the oven.<\/p>\n

10:00 <\/strong>Breakfast
\nHad my wife’s famous breakfast casserole (eggs, sausage, green chili, cheese), cinnamon rolls, and juice. Put the turkey in the oven.
\n
\n11:30 <\/strong>
\nGot the house cleaned up (I vacuumed!). Honeybun is taking a quick nap. Bailey is still sleeping. That means its time to catch some of the football game. Someone has to do it. The game isn’t going to watch itself. <\/p>\n

2:00 <\/strong>
\nMy buddy’s car won’t start. Gotta go pick him up. <\/p>\n

2:30<\/strong>
\nSetting the table.
\n\"Setting\"<\/a><\/p>\n

3:15<\/strong>
\nWe’re getting close. My father-in-law is cutting up the Turkey.
\n\"Cutting<\/a>
\nI think this shows my cleverness. Notice how I avoided this messy job by giving him “the honor” of carving the bird.

\n3:30<\/strong>
\nDinner’s on! Let’s see what’s on the table.
\n\"Deviled<\/a>
\nDeviled eggs<\/p>\n

\"Relish<\/a>
\nThe relish plate<\/p>\n

\"Olives\"<\/a>
\nSome like the olives<\/p>\n

\"Celery\"<\/a>
\nCelery and cheese (straight from the can)<\/p>\n

\"Fruit<\/a>
\nFruit salad<\/p>\n

\"Green<\/a>
\nClassic green bean salad (originally served by the Pilgrims – no, really)<\/p>\n

\"Sweet<\/a>
\nSweet potato casserole<\/p>\n

\"Mashed<\/a>
\nMashed potatoes – real potatoes<\/p>\n

\"Stuffing\"<\/a>
\nStuffing – yes, boxed<\/p>\n

\"Gravy\"<\/a>
\nGravy!<\/p>\n

\"Cranberry<\/a>
\nCranberry sauce (yes, from the can)<\/p>\n

\"Artisan<\/a>
\nArtisan bread<\/p>\n

None of this would be complete without…
\n\"Turkey\"<\/a>
\nThe Turkey!<\/p>\n

\"Cheerios\"<\/a>
\nAnd Cheerios for one. She did get to share in some turkey, potatoes, and sweet potatoes, but these are her favorite. <\/p>\n

5:00<\/strong>
\nTime for the clean up. Not so clever in getting out of this one. Since Honeybun did the cooking, I figure its only fair to do my part.

\nBed time for the little one. Its about an hour early, but with all the commotion she wouldn’t go down for an afternoon nap.
