DownsizeDC.org wants to pass legislation requiring legislators to know actually read the bills they vote on. They call it the “Read the Bills Act“.
It is a great idea doomed to failure. No one in congress is going to pass a law creating more work for themselves.
Then again, this group is against the Patriot Act so maybe the idea isn’t that good after all.
